PREAKNESS HEALTHCARE CENTER WAYNE NJ

Preakness Healthcare Center (PHC) is a 484-bed not-for-profit nursing facility with sites located in both Haledon and Wayne. Preakness Healthcare Center, formerly known as Preakness Hospital, has been caring for people for more than 4 decades. The Wayne location is getting a new building, supposed to be completed in 2009. There is very little info to be found here on the internet, but of course this leads to speculation on what will become of the old building...will this place become the next OB? Some buildings were torn down where the new building is going up. Anyone know more about this place? .+R

At some point in January they will vacate the main building and move to the new building approximately a mile away(shades of ECHC)
There are a few smaller buildings that have yet to be vacated. However, the Passaic County Sherriffs Dept (CSI) building is only a few hundred feet away!

I cant tell from the map...I dont recognize the street names and one of the street names was cut off. The old building is still standing and operating so Im inclined to say that this is not the location. .+R

Ok, this area looks like a good spot. In my search on the area, I found Valley View Sanatorium.

Well, my son works with the less severe cases and he plays games, reads to the patients,shows them how to use the computer, etc...He(my son) is not available right now to ask anything else about the actual place. I'll have to ask him for more info and post it later!
