...most likely hoping next year comes and goes fast too.
i have seen alot of death this year...guess that comes with getting older. didn't have alot of time this year to do the things i enjoy or wanted to. that might change next year. atleast 2 of my lawn service customers will not be on my schedule next year. one woman who lives by herself, has put her house up for sale...so i am losing that job. the other customer, whos lawn i worked on for almost 20 years, passed away back in october. right now, she still owes me $130.00...wonder if i should do a leaf clean-up??
a week into november and something was wrong with my left leg. all of a sudden, i couldn't bend my knee. the area around my knee hurt like fuck and it was painfull to bend it. i limped around for 2 and a half weeks before i went to see my doctor...at that point, it wasnt as painfull and i was able to bend my knee more. i thought i had gout but the doctor said i might have torn a ligament...he wrote me a perscription. we talked about gout, kidney stones, and the high uric levels in my system. he said the high blood pressure pills could be casusing some of this problem. so, he wrote me a new script for that. i started taking both pills that day and within a couple of days, something was wrong...i felt dizzy and light-headed. i stopped taking both pills. after a few days, i talked to my quack and he thinks i had some type of reaction. doctors...all them years they spend in school and they have no clue.
i posted awhile ago about a kid i went to school with...he died this year...he is only a year younger than me. still dont know what happened there.
another hit came today...we got a call today that one of my older cousins had died as a result of a car accident. i had just learned from my uncle charles the other day. i had gone over to do grass cutting and leaf clean-up last friday and he had told me this story. my cousin has driving home from long beach island and was about half way home when he must have passed out while driving...the truck hit a tree. this happened about 4 weeks ago and yet this was the first time i heard about it. i told my unle that i never heard a word about it and i was surprised to hear it. i talked to my mother, she had heard about it a coupld of weeks ago, but she didnt say anything. well, this morning, she called my aunt mary to see how mike was doing, and my aunt said he has passed away.
it's been one tough year to say the least...i think i am due for a break soon.

Ya know for old time sake can you re-post that family dinner thread where the kid pee's the revenge with the sauce. I forgot what or where it was under and could not find it..... that is good for a laugh!

well...it happened again...i fucked up my left foot...again.
i just got back the use of my left knee and now my foot is out. don't know how i did this...don't know what brings this one...one thing for sure is, i am fucking sick and tired of it.
i had the day off form work so i was able to go to the funeral...wore my good, comfy boots. didn't have any pain all morning. got home in the afternoon and i decided to go do a leaf clean-up and a gress cutting. got all that work done, showered, had dinner, and relaxed that evening...pain free.
the next morning, my foot was bothering me alittle. the more i walked or stood on it, the pain level increased. i went to work that day...i spend most of my shift on my feet and the level of pain quickly increased throughout the day. by the end of my shift, i could hardly stand. i went home and got off my feet. i spent a couple of hours playing on the computer and watching tv until it was time to go to bed. it was at this point that i could not stand much less walk. i had to roll the computer chair to the bottom of the staris and crawl up the steps, then crawl down the hallway to the bedroom. once there, i had to pull myself up on to the bed where i laid there until noon today. i didn't/couldn't do much today (which sets me back) and i actually have been using cruthes all day. wouldnt' be able to see a doctor until monday. i just hope the hell i didn't break anything in this foot. i will say this though...i am getting sick of tired of this shit always happening. maybe it's time for a vacation...i do need to get off my feet more.

A vacation would be well advised!....., remember ole' chap we don't bounce back the way we did once upon a time. 
Try soaking in cold water or stand in the shower with the attachment aimed on the instep, This worked for me recently.
